MATTHEW JOHNSON, RA, NCARB

Director of Construction Administration

Matt is responsible for keeping clients aware of issues and potential challenges during key phases of projects. He manages interdisciplinary coordination with general contractors and engineers to identify and resolve critical issues and field conditions and to ensure timely, efficient completion of projects.

A registered architect, Matt has a broad range of experience in the many phases of the architectural design process through construction administration. He has worked in the commercial, educational, residential, healthcare, and government market sectors. Notable projects include: the relocation of Heinz World Headquarters in Pittsburgh; a new combat communications training facility for the U.S. Air Force 911th Reserve Unit in Pittsburgh; a new hospital, professional building, and nursing home for Alliance Community Hospital located in Alliance, Ohio; and additions and renovations for the Engineering Technology Building at Fairmont State University, Fairmont, West Virginia.

Matt is committed to strong design and the arts and has won awards for plein air painting in local shows. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Kent State University.
